DIRECTOR

 

Rebekah is a co-founder of Take Back, a political theatre collective. She was nominated for three Manchester Theatre Awards for her play, In My Bed, and has had work produced at 24:7 Theatre Festival, The Lowry Studio and various fringe venues across Manchester. Rebekah is passionate about social justice and equality and Take Back also organise regular aid trips to Calais to work within the refugee camps.

 

Neale has kindly assisted with directing the show and has also acted as an Artistic Mentor. Having been in the business for longer than he cares to think about, he has done just about all there is to do. He trained as an actor at The Birmingham School of Speech Training & Dramatic Art (as it was known then). Theatre credits include: Macbeth, Hamlet, Absent Friends, Lady Windermere’s Fan, Blue Remembered Hills, King Arthur. TV/Film: Chronicles of Narnia, Inspector Morse, Crimewatch, Dangerfield, Makin’ Waves. He now devotes his time to directing and stage fight directing. Directing credits include: Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Hobson’s Choice, Separate Tables, No Sex Please – We’re British, Veronica’s Room. He is also a writer and has published three novels including: The Altruis Duad (a fantasy novel in two volumes) and Tea & Irish (a thriller to be released later this year).

Irene is a freelance Theatre Designer, based in the North West. She has experience in set, costume, community arts and events. She creates immersive and transformative environments. Her designs are playgrounds for the performer. Her recent design credits include, ‘The Maids’ (Square Peg Theatre) and ‘Orphans’ (Play with Fire Productions).

MICHAEL WHITE

MOVEMENT DIRECTOR

Michael is a director and movement director based in Manchester. He is the co-artistic director of Square Peg Theatre. He trained at the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris (2008 - 2010). Recent credits include Roseacre (National Tour), On Corporation Street (ANU Productions & HOME), The Maids (Harrogate Theatre).
